Tour 5A: Tour to Hell's Gate... and back! (10 Hours)

In a place where the scenery can only be described in superlatives, Hell's Gate is a place like no other in British Columbia.
Where the Mighty Fraser River, draining over a quarter of the entire province, charges through a gap in the rocks only 35 metres (110 feet) wide, the Hell's Gate Airtram takes you down to where the ferocious battle between the elements of Earth and Water has raged for over ten thousand years.
Come with us as we travel into the famous Fraser River Canyon, navigating en route through six tunnels and some of British Columia's most colourful history- the days of the Fraser River Gold Rush.
Lunch is served at Hell's Gate! From the heat, step into the cool air conditioning of the Salmon House restaurant and enjoy a huge wild salmon steak filet, salmon burger, starting with salmon chowder. Other items are available of course!
For train lovers, the Canadian Pacific Railway emerges from a tunnel across the river and the Canadian National Railway runs immediately behind the restaurant.
Tour highlights:

Where else in the world can you stop to smell the flowers, visit Hell's Gate- a place definitely beyond Hope- have lunch, and still be home in time for dinner ?!
