Springtime across British Columbia is an amazing time. It comes earliest in Victoria and Vancouver with flowers blooming by mid February and cherry blossoms in full bloom by early March.
As the sun warms up the valleys and then the mountainsides, spring comes progressively later the higher in elevation you travel.
This makes Vancouver an ideal place for people who love outdoor activities that straddle winter and spring. Where else can you golf all day and then ski until ten o'clock at night?
The Okanagan comes alive with blossoms in the orchards and new buds in the vineyards. And to celebrate, the Okanagan holds a Spring Wine Festival.
The Rockies are late to awaken from the stupor of Winter but glorious nonetheless. Green valley floors are capped by mountaintops laden with snow- a show you will never forget!
